RAW

Another journal... and this time I'm mad.


I've started a four day photography course at my local technical college, and today was out first day. One of the first thing our teacher said, after talking us through ISO, Apeture, and Shutter speed was to save out images as RAW file in our camera rather than as a .JPG. Being a teacher I naturally assumed that he knew better, and switched my setting from "Fine" to "RAW"

HOWEVER

When I got home, the images were of less quality than any of the ones that i'd taken before! Perhaps he wasnt aware of the "Fine" feature, and I suppose I'm also at fault for not asking about the "Fine" feature versus the "RAW" so now I'm stuck with images that will in no way shape or form survive being blown up to A4 and A3 size for the end of courses exhibition without being completly distorted by noise.

Naturally... I'm pissed.

General AS exam freaking out...

I do art... ^^; It's time consuming

I also do Chemistry... :dead:

And Biology... :dead:

And Spanish..:X

Combine that with looking after 2 children under 4 three times a week to try and get enough money to buy a car so I can learn to drive...
